I needed to add some new sections.

1) I wanted to add a new section on homepage. This section is the “App Demo” section. where I will be showing a youtube video. User click on it to play the video and see my android app demo.

2) I wanted to add new pages for FAQ , privacy policy and others. How can I add them and use the existing Javascript for it.

Hi,
1. If you want to add a new section in the homepage, the theme has to be modified.
2. You can create new pages with the layout One Page and add everything you want.

But I want to add the new section on the front page itself. Before the “Pricing” section.

Also, How do I pull a Youtube video in it ?

Hi,

to modify the front pages like image slider or video option, you have to edit the code and add this new section. As you are developing the theme in your local server I can’t help you to modify it. If you want, I can send you the theme modified with the new section. Have you changed anything in the code of the default theme?

I am the developer myself, so I can do it. I have not changed anything in the theme code as such. I just changed options in Theme Options and added few custom CSS , but the theme code is untouched.

So, if you can send me the new files , I can use it.

But, will this theme override my changes to the Theme options. Like the text in various sections, FA icons, some changes on the main header page, nav bar, background video etc..

Will these new files over-ride my existing changes ?

I have received the files and replaced my theme with these new files.

Now, in the Theme Options section, I dont see any dropdown page for “Video”.

Which page should I use there. Can you tell me process to do it.

Hi,

you have to create a page with the layou Video, and then, in the page Appearance > Theme Options > Sections, you have to select it in the option Video (below Features)

Well,

In the new section that you have added for video demo with a default video (alaska), it was working fine.

When I have replaced it with my video, the video stopped loading.

Here is what I have done in “video section” page

Can you please have a look. I have changed the hosting and will send you the login details.
