First, what background version do you want?About the sections of the theme. Do you want the map background? The ‘about me’ section? The ‘contact’ section? The ‘subscription form’?

Hi. I have diplomas/certificates in HTMl, HTMl5, Google Analytics, SQL, CSS3, plus an IT-education and have owned a successful web shop for a decade – I don’t understand how to get started.
I spent hours with the documentation and instructions yesterday.
I know how to edit code. It is just very unclear to me
– which documents to edit

first, you have to choose the background version you want. What do you want to use?
About the layouts, there are 3 differents css files (style.css, style_2.css or style_3.css) because there are 3 different designs to show the elements of the website. You have to choose what design you want and use its css file.

Does this mean that I ignore the other background files and don’t include them in my site uploads?
2. I want “version 3” of the layous. (And no cookie message)
If I understand you right, this means I must edit style_3.css. And I ignore the other files.

yes to both questions. Remember to rename the main file to index.html. For example, if you want to use the Youtube video background, delete all the files except index_video2.html and change its name to index.html.
