I am trying to disable the urls of the individual pages that are used in the home page, like /features /spotlight-1 etc. so they cannot be accessed by users or google individually – I just want to show them on the front page, as a whole. How can I do that?

    Hi,

What do you want exactly? Do you want to hide theme in the frontpage?

No. I want them to be non-accessible for an outside user in any other location than the frontpage.

Example: “features” page is shown on the frontpage, but not accessible through http://www.website.com/features/

If they have publicly accessible urls, they also end up in my sitemaps.xml that is generated by Yoast SEO for example.

Do you want to remove the url from the link in the other pages?

    Regards

I guess that’s how you could describe it?

It’s simple really. You use ‘pages’ as building blocks, to combine them on the frontpage, right? Like spotlight, features, header etc.

These pages are then available on the root of the website under http://website.com/ as one single combined html view. But they also are discoverable individually under a their url that gets created when you create a new page. For example /features /spotlight-1 etc. -> This last behavior is undesirable for me and I want to disable the possibility that users can somehow access these pages.

    Hi,

the theme has not any option to this. But you can edit the link of the pages in Settings > Permalinks, or in the page option like you can check in the next image:

    Regards
