The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet

Dear Sir/Madam,

I’ve bought the plugin Verde thinking that would be easy to install and apply to my site but it’s being a pain.

No matter what I got the ‘The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet’ message and I’ve tried to search solution on internet but there’s no way to me sort it since the initial zip file that comes with the package doesn’t have any child zip and even trying to upload or ftp to the file manager still no way to get this sorted out. can someone please explain to install the plugin?
